Lockdown. Apparently everybody is home educating now.
It is July now. We have been locked down since the end of March. Things are easing, and the best thing about that is that we can get takeaway food again! Everything else still makes me nervous. We are being let out too early, or at least too early for those careless folk who just want what they want.
Lockdown was ABSOLUTLEY BRILLIANT to start with. We had a routine. Al was working from home. We went on walks and bike rides and read books, and played games and watched movies and cooked nice food and did lots of baking and exercise and had fantastic conversations. The Wee One really grew up quite a lot.
We talked so much about human interaction - friends and siblings, but mostly characters in the books we were reading and TV shows we were watching. (Stranger Things was a great pool of possibilities in that respect!)
But mostly we enjoyed each other's company.
